Doel

Deze hands-on workshop wordt georganiseerd  voor dierenartsen geïnteresseerd in de basistechnieken en organisatie rond de in vitro productie van paardenembryo's. De voertaal in deze workshop is engels.

• 8u30 – 10u00: Presentation: OPU technique, clinical aspects
• 10u00 – 10u30: coffee break
• 10u30 – 12u00: Demonstration: OPU in the mare
• 12u00 - 13u30: lunch
• 13u30- 17u00: Workshop: (small group rotation) OPU in the mare and oocyte manipulation: de deelnemers krijgen de gelegenheid om OPU-sessies uit te voeren in de merrie en doorlopen de verschillende stappen in het lab. 
• 18.30h : dinner

• 10u30 – 12u00: Workshop: Handling of sperm and oocytes for ICSI
• 12u00 - 13u30: lunch
• 13u30 - 17u00: Workshop: ICSI, embryo cryopreservation, thawing and transfer (hands-on)
