We welcome Yilin Wang as a new researcher at the Magnel-Vandepitte Laboratory. Yilin recently graduated from South China University of Technology, where he focused on the mechanical behaviour of concrete reinforced with CFRP under hygrothermal environments (including the fatigue behavior of reinforced concrete beam as well as the bond behavior of concrete-CFRP interface). In Ghent, he will join the team working on the bond behaviour of concrete-glass interfaces under the supervision of Prof. Wan-Wendner and Prof. Belis. In detail, he will be aiming to propose a computational framework that can be used to predict the bond behaviour in multi-physics fields.
