30 May 2022: Belgian Environmental Economics Day
(18-05-2022)
The Belgian Environmental Economics Day 2022 (BEED) provides an opportunity to researchers in the areas of environmental, resource and ecological economics from universities, university colleges, research institutes and research consultancy firms in Belgium, to present their work.
It is an academic meeting open to all interested stakeholders (academics, public servants, consultants, students, …). BEED aims at making the scientific discipline of environment economics more visible in Belgium. It can be regarded as an intermediate platform between individual researchers and traditional international professional associations.
Format
It typically consists of a number of general sessions and an academic or policy keynote.
Researchers are invited to submit recent research or policy papers to the thematic and general sessions. Out of the submissions, the program committee selects a number of papers to be presented during the BEED in plenary sessions of 20-25 minutes.
More information on the programme can be found here.
