Specific course requirements

Economics of banking is a master-level course for which prior knowledge of macroeconomics and monetary economics as well as banking and financial markets is required. Part of the compulsory reading material are papers from academic journals in which econometric techniques are applied. Moreover, the students have to make and present a paper in which they have to estimate regressions. Hence, knowledge of and experience with econometrics is required.
