Supramolecular Chemistry Group
The Supramolecular Chemistry group develops well-defined synthetic polymeric structures with controlled ordering and/or self-assembly resulting in adaptive functional materials. This is achieved by using advanced synthetic methods, including organic chemistry as well as living and controlled polymerization techniques. Also, state-of-the-art analytical tools are available for structural as well as property investigation of the materials. The main focus areas are polymers for biomedical applications and responsive hydrogels.
